MALVERN COMMUNITY COALITIONS 2009 SPECIAL EVENT
MALVERN IN MOTION – REDISCOVERING MALVERN
Malvern, Ontario September 18/19, 2009 – Malvern Community Coalition (MCC), will
host the 2009 instalment of their highly anticipated Malvern in Motion neighbourhood
festival. The theme of this year’s event ‘Rediscovering Malvern’ will bring to Malvern a
taste of the many world class events that make up much of the summer fun for millions of
tourists that visit the GTA, some of the highlights at ‘Rediscovering Malvern’ will be:
What:
World Food Market – a food sampling from the many spices and people that make up the most diverse community on the planet
Malvern, Then and Now a brief history presentation followed by a scenic Bus Tour with a few stops along the way at some of Malvern’s famous
buildings
Junior Jammers and Adult All-Stars 3 on 3 Basketball tournament
Small Post Soccer Tournament
Socacize assigns a professional instructor to teach you how to get your heart rate up while ‘yuh wine down low’.
A Session with Salsa free dance lessons from a certified Latin dance instructor
Malvern’s Moonlight Movies - grab a blanket, some popcorn and your family for a free outdoor viewing of a box office hit feature film under the
beautiful late summer September sky.
Cheerleaders for Change will showcase a block walk for Malvern by our very own Argos Cheerleaders.
